Caption: Chinese celebration: Yam Meng and members of the Spokane Chinese Dance Group perform a red ribbon cultural dance Tuesday at Spokane Community College in celebration of the Chinese New Year. The SCC Asian/Pacific Club participated in writing names in different languages. Spokane Falls Community College’s Asian American Club and Chinese Club will host a dance presentation at noon in the school’s SUB lounge A today with a film to follow. The Chinese New Year will be celebrated Sunday and is the year of the snake.
