Description

Caption: Rogers High School seniors Martell Davis and Carissa Colligas, both 17, welcome freshmen and sophomores during lunch period Thursday, the first day of school. Rogers was required to add 100 hours to the school year because of a $4 million federal grant to improve the graduation rate and academics. The administration decided to start two days earlier than the rest of the district.
