Description

“Majestic”

If you’ve ever tried to take a picture like this, you know just how difficult it is to get a spectacular photograph of our national bird, the bald eagle. This majestic image crisply catches one of nature’s most magnificent birds in all its glory -- and in its natural surroundings.

One of our best photographers, Jesse Tinsley, rendered this eagle – an adult male with radiant white head and tail feathers – on an icy December day at Higgins Point on Lake Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Every winter, bald eagles swarm along the lake’s eastern shore to feast on spawned-out Kokanee salmon. Once they’ve had their fill, the big raptors migrate south to slightly warmer climes.

This print is perfect for birders, as a special gift for a CEO or to brighten public buildings and waiting rooms. Then again, it would look right at home in your living room.

Framed and printed on 16 x 20 inch archival paper that will last indefinitely. Truly a gift that keeps on giving for years to come.
